Rezonance is a civic engagement platform built for people who want to actually understand what's happening in government. We pull real legislation from Congress.gov, break it down with AI so it's actually readable, and give you a space to vote on bills and talk it through with other citizens. Think of it as your nonpartisan guide to staying informed — no spin, just the facts and your voice.

Nope. Rezonance is 100% nonpartisan. We don't endorse candidates, parties, or political positions. Our goal is to make it easier for everyone — regardless of where they fall on the political spectrum — to understand legislation and engage in civic discourse. We show you the data; you form your own opinion.

Our AI reads the actual bill text — sometimes hundreds of pages — and translates the legalese into plain English. You can ask it questions like "What does Section 4 actually mean?" or "Who does this bill affect?" and it'll give you a straight answer grounded in the bill's content. It won't tell you whether a bill is good or bad; that's your call. It just helps you understand what's in it.

Head to the Lawmakers page. You can filter by state to find your senators and House representative. Each lawmaker has a profile showing their party, committees, recent votes, and any bills they've sponsored. It's a quick way to see what your reps are actually up to in Washington.

When you vote on a bill, you're expressing your personal stance — support, oppose, or neutral. Your vote doesn't go to Congress or affect real legislation (we're not a petition platform). What it does do is let you see how the Rezonance community feels about a bill, and it helps personalize your feed so you see more of what matters to you. Think of it as a civic pulse check.

Town Square is Rezonance's community discussion space. It's where you can start or join conversations about bills, current events, and civic topics. Unlike social media, it's designed to keep things civil and on-topic. You can reply to other users, upvote comments you agree with, and have real debates without the algorithm rewarding outrage.

Yes. Your individual votes are private — nobody can look up how you voted on a specific bill. We only show aggregate counts publicly (e.g., "62% of users support this bill"). Your voting history in your profile is visible only to you, unless you choose to make your profile public and explicitly share it.

We collect your account info (email, username), your activity on the platform (votes, comments, bill follows), and optional profile details you choose to share (state, interests). We use this to personalize your experience and improve the platform. We never sell your data to third parties, and we don't use it for political targeting. You can review our full Privacy Policy for the details.

Go to Settings in your profile and scroll to the Account section — you'll find a "Delete Account" option there. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, votes, and comments from our system. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you're certain before proceeding. If you just need a break, you can also deactivate your account instead.
